VLP 12×64 - Time and band display

The time and zone display is used to display the current time and the tariff zone or tariff zones that it receives from the on-board master unit (e.g. EPIS 4.0x (public transport version) or EPIS 5FC (line transport version)). It is designed according to the latest requirements, i.e. it allows to display up to 5 alternating alphanumeric tariff zones, e.g. A58, A98, ...., while the alternation speed can be set. Another feature is that it is possible to use the display as a standard internal LED panel with a pitch of 12 x 64 LEDs and to display e.g. a message from the dispatcher in the form of running text.

The time and zone fields have an internal separate power supply and can therefore be fitted with different LED colours, e.g. red time and green tariff zone, i.e. a display with two field colours is created.

The power supply of the display can be re-established via a separate power supply or via the ECU 08PO eth. switch. It is usually installed behind the driver on the left side of the screen. It is readable from a distance of up to 25 m and provides information for all vehicle occupants.

The concept of the time and zone display meets the latest requirements of Ropid or DPO a.s. and allows the three-digit zones to be changed in the tariff zone window, including alphabetic characters.
