Use of OBUs for emergency services
Installing the OBU units on the emergency vehicles provides their operators:
- preference at controlled intersections so that the vehicle passes through the green light safely,
- warning of other drivers before the emergency vehicle passes around them,
- providing GNSS data or internet access.
Our units thus help the vehicles of the emergency services (especially firefighters and ambulances) to get to their destination faster and, above all, safer. The units are ready to be mounted on existing vehicles as well as built into new vehicles.
Our company has already installed OBUs on about 70 emergency vehicles.
