Secure waiting areas

In guarded areas of waiting rooms, where there is permanent operation of transport equipment, LCD monitors or even TVs can be used directly, which are designed for permanent operation and do not have to fully meet the "anti-vandal" condition. These monitors (TVs) are supplemented by a specialised control unit which ensures the display of departure information obtained from the IDS control room or another information system (e.g. MEDIA server or film server).

There are two possible solutions here:

• use a separate industrial LCD display and place the control unit in it (compact all-in-one design),
• use a "high quality" TV and feed the signal from the control unit to it (multi-box solution).
