Power supply from public lighting

The power supply unit is ready for charging from the lighting grid. The capacity is dimensioned according to the customer's requirements. It is normally used to power selected electronic markers and stop panels during the day when the power supply from the public lighting is switched off. It can be built directly into the stop sign or into a part of it, or it can be placed in a switchboard located near the panel.

The capacity of the battery pack is selected according to the size and layout of the markers, ranging from 40 Ah to 160 Ah. According to the capacity of the batteries, the blocks are supplemented with a power supply providing sufficient charging current.

The AKUPACK battery pack assembly uses independent electronics to control the charging and discharging of individual cells to ensure optimum operating conditions of the batteries to achieve their long service life of up to 8000 charging cycles, i.e. up to 20 years with daily charging. When using the battery pack in an electronic tag with an intelligent control unit, information about the status of the battery pack can be read and transmitted to the control room.
