External boards VLP 21

The VLP 21 (Vehicle LED Panel - 21) external LED panels are based on a spacing of 8.6 mm or 10 mm between LEDs with 21 LED rows. By reducing the number of LEDs, a lower panel price can be achieved. In the case of a two-line display, undistorted English text is achieved in this case. By reducing the number of luminous points, it is necessary to increase the brightness of the LEDs and therefore these panels are fitted with high quality LEDs with long lifetime and low luminous degradation at higher operating temperatures.

The VLP 21 panels are equipped with very efficient inverters (up to 95% efficiency) and very powerful control units, which allow to redraw the LED array up to 1000 times per second, thus creating up to 8 degrees of "grey".

The panels are designed to maximize the frontal area of the LEDs and have very small margins.

The appearance and mechanical dimensions are similar to VLP 19 panels, except that they are 2 cm taller. This type of LED panel is required for deliveries to Dopravní podnik Ostrava a.s. (10 mm pitch) or DPP a.s. (8.6 mm pitch)

The VLP 21 × 160 outer front LED panel is designed to be suitable for use as a front direction indicator (banner) in public transport vehicles.

VLP 21×128 External Vehicle LED Side Panel - VLP 21×128

The VLP 21 × 128 external LED vehicle side panel is designed to be suitable for use as a side direction indicator (banner) on public urban and regular transport vehicles. It is characterised by maximum use of the active display area. It is available in 8,6 mm and 10 mm spacing.

External vehicle LED side split panel - VLP 21 × 96

The VLP 21 × 96 External Vehicle LED Side Split Panel is designed to be suitable for use as a side direction indicator (banner) in public urban and regular transport vehicles. The feature split indicates that this panel displays only text information about the destination and directional stops. The line number is displayed alongside on an auxiliary separate external LED panel - VLP 21 x 32 rear number. This split arrangement is caused by the design of the vehicle windows.

Rear outer vehicle LED panel - VLP 21 × 32

The VLP 21 × 32 external rear vehicle LED panel is designed to be suitable for use as a rear line number indicator on public urban and regular public transport vehicles. It is characterized by maximum utilization of the active display area.
