EPP 5.0 A customer clearance unit - LQB
The passenger check-in unit is designed for full-fledged check-in in public transport. EPP 5.0x is a general passenger check-in terminal (validator on the left). Thanks to the USB control (min. USB 2.0), it can be connected to any computer - our EPC 4.0A, EPC 4.0B, EPC 4.0C and EPC 5.0 units or directly to a PC.

About the EPP 5.0A LQB unit in general
The EPP 5.0 A LQB check-in units are connected to the EPC 5.0 A1 on-board computer controller via individual USB interfaces and form a single mechanical unit consisting of:
- thermal ticket printer (without marking - standard) with a width of 80 mm,
- a contactless bank card reader (marking B), which can also read non-bank card identifiers and can possibly contain 4x SAM modules,
- a customer colour high brightness LCD display (designation L) with a size of 4.3" (480x272 pixels),
- a professional QR reader based on a camera system (designation Q),
- the ability to generate sounds to indicate to the passenger

The type of thermal paper used for testing the PP OIS prototype will be JTK AP62KS-E, and the thermal printer must be able to print on paper of similar values, for example: JTK AP62KJ-R or T 7034.
QR code reader
A camera or reader with the ability to recognize 2D codes (both QR and Aztec standard), electronic tickets displayed on the 2.3" display of the phone as well as in printed form with a focusing speed of up to 0.5 s. It must be able to read and decode the 2D code of the Poseidon application with validity evaluation on the PP LCD.
