Electronic validator with ticket marker - EVK 5.2

EVK 5.2 is intended for marking travel documents in public transport vehicles when passengers board the vehicle or on platforms. It is characterised by the following features:

Bank and smart cards and QR codes.

Combined validators of the EVK series are designed for convenient and fast passenger check-in using contactless chip and bank cards with the possibility of ticket marking or 2D code reading. Validators meet the requirements for modern check-in systems and can also be a separate sales unit.

Remote update

By using a network architecture, the validator can be easily and quickly updated remotely. Thanks to the fast intelligent connection, larger amounts of data can be transmitted. The validator can operate stand-alone or as a peripheral unit. It enables audible announcements for checked-in passengers and supports a multilingual graphical environment.

Touch screen display

A high quality 7" display with a durable capacitive touch screen, allows for convenient and clear check-in when selecting products. The high resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels renders all the necessary details with high luminance and long life. The system will also allow the operation of unattended point of sale systems with advanced features.

Printing and signalling width

The high-speed dot matrix printer can print a variety of characters on defined paper widths up to 63 mm. A reactive ribbon is used to prevent counterfeiting and increase print protection. The device enables optical and acoustic information on the status of the marked ticket. Sensors inside the shaft prevent double marking or warn of a ticket left inside the shaft.

Ethernet communication

The validator is controlled via Ethernet. The validator can be a stand-alone unit in the vehicle with on-board computer communication support or it can be placed on platforms as a stand-alone unit. It also has the advantage of PoE power supply, which allows easy and quick wiring without the need for special power cables.

Quick-release system

The validator system mounts on self-supporting horizontal and vertical brackets. The mounting system supports different diameters of support rods and therefore suits almost all installations without modification. For quick service intervention needs, the system is ready for easy detachment.
