Power from solar cells

Solar power options are discussed in the following article "Solar power in public transport" and its use should always be properly considered. It should be borne in mind that our country is not on the Mediterranean Sea and that there are only a few sunny days in December. Therefore, in winter there will be a situation where the solar panel will not provide enough energy and the bus stop panel will not show departures.

The power pack provides power to the information panels or other devices using batteries recharged by the solar panel. The power pack consists of an intelligent voltage converter obtained from the solar panel and from 12V LiFePo batteries. By using a LiFePo battery with advanced power management and discharge control, a very high lifetime of up to 8000 charging cycles can be achieved, i.e. up to 20 years with daily charging.
