Unmanaged Ethernet bus switch ECU 08L.+7T.05

It is a small Ethernet bus unit with 8 ports with 7x IEEE 802.3at PoE output. These PoE outputs are primarily intended for powering in-vehicle cameras with +48V output power when the camera stream (video stream data) is stored in an external device in the vehicle - EPIS 4.0x, EPIS 5.0x or in a tachograph or elsewhere. The +48V voltage has been chosen for the sake of safe connection of devices that may connect their ground to the switcher ground.

This unit is available in two versions, namely:

  • ECU-08L.+7T.05-V - PoE+ switch 8 port- RJ double connector, according to IEEE 802.3 at, 50 W for vertical mounting.
  • ECU-08L.+7T.05-H - PoE+ switch 8 port- RJ double connector, according to IEEE 802.3 at, 50 W for horizontal mounting.

On request, switches with higher PoE output power up to 200W can be prepared. The current design prefers small size and power for up to 7 cameras, or other combination - e.g. the one below for powering a front camera and 2x VLP 08×35 course indicators compatible with PoE 802.3af/at input.
